Al Mamoura Academy is proud to be the latest Aldar Academies' English curriculum school in Abu Dhabi. Our learning community revolves around a mixed gender primary school and girls only secondary school - all living and working together in a brand new, state of the art and purpose built building in the heart of the city. Whilst we feel enormously privileged to have such wonderful facilities, we readily acknowledge that it is people who make a school community and breathe life into the facilities.

Our children's creativity, coupled with their compassion and tenacity transform our learning community into a busy and vibrant learning community, one that has at its heart the desire to ensure its children achieve the best they possibly can.

There are currently fifty four different nationalities represented across our school. No wonder then that promoting intercultural understanding and mindedness is immensely important to us. However, each pupil is encouraged to be proud of their heritage and develop proficiency in their mother tongue as well as English and Arabic languages.

Our curriculum has an international dimension to support intercultural understanding and we encourage students to look at global issues from different perspectives.

In addition, the school supports the values, culture and traditions of the UAE and promotes national identity amongst our UAE students. We teach Arabic, Islamic Studies and Social Studies; we promote UAE heritage through, for example, units of work on Islamic Art and Oud Music; we celebrate UAE National Day and Eid holidays - assemblies in Arabic and English share the meaning behind the holiday.
