Our core values encapsulate what makes an education in Aldar Academies so special: they provide the unique thread which binds together all students who join our schools. Our curriculum is about knowledge and skills but it is also about values; excellence, passion, collaboration, respect, and creativity.

Aldar Academies are the leading educational provider in the UAE. Whereas many focus on examination results and consider academics as the main criterion for success, the ethos in each of the Aldar Academies is focused on every individual joining the family of schools.

If education, in the truest sense of the word, is about bringing the best out of children, then delivering A and A* grades is not enough, although examination results are, undoubtedly, important. We aim to inspire and support our students so they can become the very best they can be in every single way. By helping them become happy and fully-rounded young adults examination grades naturally follow, as our outstanding A-level, IBDP, and IGCSE results clearly prove. Our curriculum is therefore focused around the traits we want all students to acquire before taking their place in the adult world.

We want our students to achieve excellence in everything they do in Academies. Inside the classroom and in their extra-curricular activities, our students will leave school equipped to succeed in the pathway they choose for their future careers.

We want our students to adopt a creative and imaginative approach to their academic work and to their view of the world around them, equipping them to be innovative and intelligent contributors to their communities and countries. We want our students to be passionate about their learning and about their future. As the leaders of tomorrow, they will be able to think, learn and contribute fully to their pathways and choose their pathways wisely.

We want each and every pupil to be respectful, recognising and appreciating the value and contribution of others - so their experience in Academies is much more than just going to school – rather, it is preparing for life. And, we want our students to collaborate effectively with other people, so they leave Academies with the ability to engage with their local, national and international communities and with a determination to do good in the world.

English National Curriculum

One of the most respected and in-demand study options in the world, the English National Curriculum creates confident students with independent minds. Project-based learning engages and inspires a love of learning among students, as they work towards the IGCSE and A-level qualifications. Both qualifications help students progress to leading universities in Britain or abroad.

Ministry of Education

The teaching of Arabic subjects is based on the guidance and materials prescribed by the Ministry of Education. It keeps local and other native Arabic speaking and Muslim children familiar with their national identity and religion. In addition, our international students gain an understanding of the UAE’s heritage which helps enhance mutual understanding, peaceful co-existence and cross-cultural harmony and tolerance.
